Kangarun is an open source dynamic stander for toddlers with disabilities.
The product is designed for toddlers learning to stand and walk, and using a walker.
Unlike many traditional walkers and standers, Kangarun doesn’t require the use of hands.
The child’s torso and hands remain free for interaction with the environment and play.
The product designed to blend in kindergartens.
The product is made from affordable, globally available materials, and the full manufacturing guidelines are available for download as open-source on the TOM Global website.
The product was launched in October 2024, produced in small batches in Israel and New York, and is expected to be manufactured by Tom communities both locally and globally.
